Around 20 helicopters flew into White Waltham today for the Bell 505 open day. Pilots of H369MD500, EC120, Cabri G2, Robinsons, older Bells and others flew in to test the new machine. Generally comments were favourable, although some muttered about the finishings of the machine, but Gary Slater from Bell helicopters explained that as those would be custom made this was just the basic machine.
